Matthew Marquart, D.O.

Dr. Marquart is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in reconstruction of the foot and ankle, with advanced training and experience in all aspects of general orthopedics including ankle, knee, and hip replacements. Dr. Marquart did a fellowship at Michigan Foot and Ankle International in Pontiac, Michigan.  His orthopedic surgery residency was completed at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan where he was chief resident.  He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University in Irvine, California where he was an NAIA All-American scholar athlete in baseball.  Dr. Marquart is a member of the American  Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO), American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), Michigan Osteopathic Association (MOA), Michigan Osteopathic Orthopedic Association (MOOA), and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).  He has an active teaching role at Genesys Regional Medical Center, and was named Teaching Faculty of the Year for Orthopedic Surgery in 2013.
